Through Colour Waterproof Rendering

Through Coloured Render is a superb form of exterior coating solutions for modern buildings. The manufacturing process involves infusing colour pigments directly into the render, unlike traditional render where colour is applied as a topcoat. The colour pigment permeates the entire render resulting in lasting colouration, which eliminates the requirement for periodic repainting. Manufacturers have developed this advanced render system to provide durability and weather protection.

After investing largely in the machine application of external rendering we are able to maintain progress throughout all our coloured rendering projects.

  • We can provide

several rendering gangs for vast scale building developments using Lancey, Utiform and Putzmeiste machines pumps.

  • We collaborate

closely with our suppliers to ensure next-day or same-day deliveries of material to prevent delay.

  • We offer

three separate specifications from, simply spraying a one coat render right through to a fully meshed system on all substrates.

External Wall
Insulation

The benefits of external wall insulation

This insulation process evolves fixing various thicknesses of insulation to the substrate externally, reinforcing with flexible acrylic and mesh and finally finished in a range of decorative finishes.

  • A warmer and more comfortable home
  • Lower energy bills
  • Improving the external appearance of your property
  • Prevention of condensation and mould
  • Increased sound proofing
  • Can increase the property value
  • All projects specified by our manufacturers and 10-year warranty's issues on completion.

Thin Coat Renders

Superior weather resistance and long-lasting protection

Using a Kosner MK20 240V & MX18 Air Compressor we apply low maintenance weatherproof textured silicone and acrylic thin coat renders. These renders are developed using high-performance silicone/acrylic technology ensuring that the finish is highly water repellent, highly vapour permeable and extremely flexible, giving the very best resistance to cracking.

We have been installing this system for some time, but with increasing market interest in this product our investment in the latest equipment means we're now more widely able to deliver thin coat renders to all our clients. Thin coat renders can be made up in any colour with a short lead time and ranging in different grain sizes.

For small or domestic rendering work we use the M-tec M200 240v Domestic Edition This is a fully self-contained unit with an onboard compressor and water pump making it ideal for smaller jobs.

The key benefits of thin coat rendering applications

  • Vapour Permeable

It is vital with External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems, that moisture generated within the property can pass the system, which is why all of our thin coat renders are vapour permeable to allow the building to breathe and reduce the risk of condensation.

  • Flexible

The flexible nature of our thin coat renders makes them ideal for substrates likely to have increased movement such as timber or steel frame structures.

  • UV Stable

The pigments, resins, binders and aggregates in thin coat render finishes are highly UV resistant and retain their colour and stability, ensuring a long-lasting finish.

  •

  • Anti-Algae

Our thin coat renders have been specifically developed to combat the algae growth that has escalated due to the climate changes over recent years. Our products contain biocides and algicides that leach out over time to help prevent unsightly growth on a property.

  •

  • Water Repellency

The addition of silicone to our render increases the product’s repellence, significantly reducing the dirt and environmental pollution that can adhere to the surface.

The Glyn

Mike Schranz Lime Rendering. Case Study: The Glyn

This project was a fully specified and guaranteed Lime System.

The substrate of the property was in a very poor condition and we started work by applying a lime primer followed by several coats of lime basecoat and mesh, allowing each coat to cure. We included SBR in the scratch coat up to 1.5 meters high, to prevent any rising damp tracking through to the top coat. Once all beading and preparation work was complete, we finished the topcoat in a special through colour Lime Belle Epoque Finition special 1305 supplied by PRB. It is essential that buildings of this age, with no cavity or dpc (damp proof course) line have the appropriate lime render installed.
